At the large and well recognized booth of Sony Ericsson the Enterprise area was enriched with live demonstrations of Ericsson’s IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Ericsson Mobile Office (EMO).
Especially carriers and large enterprises showed great interest in Ericsson’s mobility solutions. At the booth of DeTeWe, a major German vendor for enterprise communications, Ericsson demonstrated together with partner Damovo the new IP-Softswitch Ericsson MX-ONE. The new Linux- and IP-based platform Ericsson MX-ONE is one of Ericsson’s keystones for enterprise communication solutions. As a stand-alone package and also as a hybrid solution supporting the legacy telephony world Ericsson MX-ONE matches the leading edge in IP-converged communications technology.
The Ericsson portfolio of branch exchanges for small and medium sized enterprise was demonstrated on the booth of cooperative GFT with the distributor NT plus. Ericsson showed the well-known BusinessPhone 7.0 and introduced a new solution for enterprises: Ethernet DSL Access (EDA). Derived from carrier grade solutions EDA is a high competitive product for campus areas and large business buildings with an own infra structure of copper cables. EDA was also represented at the DSL Forum, an industry resource guide.
“We feel it was really important to show our Enterprise products on the fair and to have Ericsson staff right there for customer meetings and relationship management with partners. We are know thinking about how to improve Ericsson’s influence in the topics and headlines for the next year’s exhibition”, Mehdi Schroeder is summarizing the conclusions of Ericsson Enterprise Germany.
